Poland has a coast of over 700 km along the Baltic Sea. This is a highlight for many Poles, whose beaches are home to a holiday get-aways, wild disco parties, and beautiful cities like Gdansk.
Since we were already at the port city of Szczecin, we were only a short drive away from the resort of Miedzyzdroje on the Baltic Sea. It is sometimes called the “Pearl of the Baltic” because of its wide sandy beach surrounded by the high cliffs and forestry of the nearby National park.
We spent the day strolling the beach, enjoy some sea-side food, and step foot into the Baltic.
